I lather and rinse once. Lather, rinse, repeat, means shampoo it, rinse it, and shampoo it again. Unless you haven’t washed your hair in about a month, one shampoo and rinse should be find. And there is no such thing as a dumb question if you don’t know the answer, so never be afraid to ask, even if it’s twice or even 5 times. Ask until you’re sure you understand. You only need to do it once just leave it soapy for a minute,they put those instructions on there so you’ll use more. Thats how they make their money. If you compare shampoo’s not all say that, because some shampoo makers aren’t trying to waste your time and money.
