My mom always tells me not to lead boys on.like I really dont now what that means & why is she telling me this?what does that mean?
It means don’t lead a guy to think there’s going to be more there than there really is. Say you like hanging out with a guy and maybe he thinks there’s a possibility for a relationship, but you just like him as a friend, be straight up with him and tell him before he thinks there’s a chance for more.
what your mom means is not to string a guy along not to lead them on. Okay for instance Janey flirts with mark every day, they become good friends. Mark starts to think they could be more than friends because Janey has lead him on. Things that leed him on were here asking to give her a ride some where, Smiles at him, hugging him, asking him for advise. Some times you can lead some one on with out even knowing your doing it. Mark then goes to ask Janey out because he thinks she really likes him, she replies by saying I have a boyfriend I thought you knew. Mark ends up heart broken and feels that he can’t ever trust women ever again. Mark asks him self why? why did she pretend to like me? I gave you an example I hope this helps

I think she means dont act like you want something more that freindship from a guy if you dont really want it
