What do you think of this idea?

Okay so me and this guy met a couple months ago, were starting to get to know each other because we are both interested. He has a wicked sense of humor. He asked me to marry him (part of his humor), and asks me to get him a ring. I know hes joking around. But do you think he would think its cute if I got him a nice, but fake ring, somewhere around maybe 10-20 dollars. I know if someone did that for me, I’d think its sweet, but what do you think a guy would say. Hes very outgoing & funny.
