What do you thin America serving students unhealthy frozen foods?

Not only is America one of the dumbest countries, we’ve also become one of the FATTEST countries. So, why is it that schools are just serving us kids a bunch of frozen food. Cafeteria workers don’t even cook anymore, they just take out food from the freezer, heat it, and literally THROW it on a plate! It’s very rare to find schools that actually have freshly cooked food. But I hear , it costs about to same, to buy the fresh food. I mean, is it that much to ask for some healthy food? What do you want your kid eating?

Most of our food is in the baggie they come in ! like burgers. pizza. sloppy joes. hot dogs. and other foods.

and then they come out soggy and gross. Most of the food is really horrible besides being unhealthy. Like, what happened to actually cooking our lunch?

I’m a kid in high school and I think my school does the food about half and half, sometimes its frozen and sometimes its fresh but all around it only healthy because its such a small amount.=( I really cant complain though because me along with about 80% of the kids in my school don’t even get an entire meal because there’s only 20 minutes in our lunch period! the best or worst example (it depends on how you look at it) of my school giving us unhealthy and frozen food is that about once a month HOTPOCKETS! are actually on the damn menu, we don’t order like a restaurant I just didn’t know exactly how to put that. but seriously schools should stop being so lazy and actually cook their own food!

I know this doesn’t answer the question but if you hate the school lunch then bring your own.
