I just bought a PDA. HP IPAQ 111 classic Hanheld to be exact. It may have been a stupid investment, because I know nothing about PDA’s. stuff like internet. do you have to have a provider? or can you just whispers steal like you do with laptops with wifi. well I couldnt call it stealing persay… anyways. where can I find basic information or stuff about internet on a pda or does anyone know. itd be easy to just read the hand book. but I got it online and there for. I havent got it yet.

Hi,

PDAs often have wireless internet access included at a monthly charge. Companies such as Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola and Trium use the integrated PDA and internet access as a valuable marketing tool.

I don’t believe you can steal wifi like you can with unsecured networks on a laptop. To have the access, the PDA maker will have already struck a deal with an Internet provider, and it’s already integrated in your device.

Hope that helps.
