What can I do to be successful in school?

I am in the 7th grade I am supposed to be in the 9th grade. What can I do to get in my right grade?

Get enough sleep so that you can focus in class. Pay attention. Do your homework, and study for exams.

It would be helpful to limit how much time you spend gaming, online or texting. These activities tend to cause short attention spans.

I recently retired from a school district that has a program for “overage” middle school students. Have your friend ask a school counselor if there is such a program in your district. The program I know about allows students to focus on the core subjects and make progress faster. They often catch up with there original grade level peers.

Stop slacking off if you got held back for like 2 years. Do your work the right way and make sure you actually try and try not to get into trouble.
