What are the risks of colored contacts?

They could make you blind. You shouldn’t wear them more than the time they say on the box. Usually its a few hours.

There have been people that wear them for a whole night partying and get drunk and pass out with the contacts in, then when they wake up they are blind or half-blind.

You should buy them from a trusted place, not some back alley-way from a guy with a neck tattoo lol. And never, ever, share them with other people. Even if you wash them. never. And make sure they always have the right amount of the liquid stuff they give you with them or they will dry out.

I don’t think there is a risk with just colored. I think that both contacts are a risk. They can sometimes get lost in your lids, and sometimes people have allergic reactions to them. just make sure that you are careful, and get the correct ones that you need, that means don’t lie on the eye test, my brother does all the time. They’re no worse for your eyes than regular contacts. Just make sure you get a trusted brand, otherwise they might irritate your eyes. Acuvue 2Colours are my personal favorite.
