What are good books for 13 year olds?

I’m wondering if anyone could tell me if there are short books for 14 years olds or 13 year olds. Because I need to do a book report on a book…duh… due in like 4 weeks? So just give me the book name and author and give a brief summary please and thank you.

For boys and girls I definetly recommend the alex rider series… they are amazing and the first one is called stormbreaker. and its by anthony horowitz also the hunger games by suzanne collins series of unfortunate events- lemony snicket children of the lamp series lightning thief mysterious benedict society peter and the starcathers(boring a little at first but getsw really good)

for girls: I recommend.. The gallagher girl series-ally carter heist society-ally carter The frog princess(sounds childish but they are super good) Dealing with dragons (4 book series) dear john and last song by nicholas sparks twilight series ( which are really good) mediator series

I could go on and on but it will take all day hoped I helped

An excellent book for boys your age is by Alden Carter, “Between a Rock and a Hard Place.” My boys thought it was the best book ever.

dont read twlight uless your stupid if you want to read a cool vampire book that dosnt make you look like a pussy read the cirque du freak series ull get hooked darren shan is the author its about a 13yr old boy who becomes a half vampire to save his bestfriend who trys to kill him there are 12 books and that was just part of the first one

Twilight, Breaking Dawn(this is the best of the4!), New Moon, And Eclipse. Hold still(about a girl whose best friend commits suicide,and the girls life after)
