Does the music you listen to define you?

does the music you listen to describe who you really are???

Answer #1

No, I dont think it is…

I mean I am a techno producer and dj in cool clubs and listen to classical Japanese music at home..

You would not know to look at me…

Answer #2

I have 400 gigs of music and I listen to almost every genre so how can it define me? You can’t mix and match every type of music into one personality and I am not bipolar so no, music doesn’t define me, I just love to listen to it and explore it.

Answer #3

um not really, I’d say it just helps me get through the day and maybe yes the I wear some of the fasion from the music I listen to, but I wouldn’t say it defines me… I define myself yo

Answer #4

Answer #5

Answer #6

I do believe the music I listen to defines me. I enjoy emo-alternative-goth music, and thats how I’m said to dress. When I feel bad, I listen to sad music, or screamo. When I’m happy I listen to songs with more upbeat tunes. It really depends on my mood. So I guess the music I listen to describes me…

Answer #7

Umm to some people it does but not to others like for example my boyfriend listens to EVERYTHING and when I say EVERYTHING I mean EVERYTHING from classical to heavy metal to country to rap I mean EVERYTHING and he dresses like this white gangster lol

Answer #8

id say so, I absolutly hate anything that has to do with country music or new rap. I love metal, emo and rock bands and some old old old rap. like nwa and ice cube

Answer #9

for me music defines…because I listened to Punk Rock and I became Punk, them I listened to Goth Rock and Death Metal and then I became goth…but I guess for some people, music is just there, but for people that take it really serious, then it can actually change who you are..ha. like the Family Guy epidode: saving private brian, where Chris turns goth…music can actually change your thoughts sometimes…

Answer #10
