When you were younger or now, what have been/are your ways of “magical thinking,” like wishing on a full moon or believing in horoscopes, etc., to make your wishes come true?

Have you ever heard that some people make wishes on the northern lights? Supposedly, when the lights change colour, someone, somewhere has just made a wish.
When we were little, me and my cousin used to make a wish to ‘holiday characters’ Lol thats the only way I can explain it (; Like I have these ornaments of two squirrells in the garden and we wanted to turn into them xD So we made a wish to Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy etc it didn’t work -.-
