How do you edit videos?? Because I've noticed that this one friend on mine Alwys has "fancy" vids like they always have Words in them, the voices sound all squeaky or Really deep...
I am a profesional filmmaker and I can tell you that your question can be answered in a million different ways, but the best answer in order to put text on the screen and do simple narration is to take everyone's advice and use windows movie maker. I learned on that program and it can get a simple job done.If you want to take it to a more professional level then get one of the tops editing programs like final cut pro/mac or sony vegas/windows and learn from the ground up, that is if you want to take it professional but for just a basic hobby windows movie maker or I movie for mac will do just fine any more questions fell free to ask me.
They most likely used Windows Movie Maker or have an Apple Mac computer,the Apple computers have the best movie editor installed on them. He/she probably just has experience in video editing,why not ask him/her to show you how it's done.
use ulead video studi, or adobe premier,, thats a very profesional productivity suite
