Answer #6

A country can do a lot with “military advisors” Just ask the Viet Cong. Besides… proxy wars are the calling card of Zbigniew Brzezinski… they’re the chickenhawks preferred method of waging war under a philanthropic guise.

Answer #7

Let’s start with something simple. What’s a proxy war?

Answer #8

A proxy war is one in which the warring party/parties use surrogates to carry out the brunt of the actual fighting. The actual powers behind the wars act in a facilitative capacity. Supplying arms… training… engaging in covert operations… all in an effort to conceal their actual role in the war. The United States used the mujahedeen in this capacity during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. We also used anti-Castro, Cuban auxiliaries during the Bay of Pigs. Although it is not widely known… NATO used Al-Qaeda surrogates during the Bosnian Wars… just like we have used them in Libya.
