I have split up with my wife but before she left she changed my account to limited and left hers as the aministrator, how can I change this

erm…do you know her login info, or her password? if not I suggest you go into Best Buy and have the Geek Squad look it over for you.

u should b able to go into your control panel from your start menu. you know how to do that?? if not ill try and explain lol but you will need to reset the password im guessing. or you can make up a nother account and get rid of that 1 I think lol

If the administrator account is password protected where you can’t view the files from your side the only thing you can do from there is PC Recovery,that’s the only way you’ll get back into the administrator side.
