how do you unlock more armor in the halo reach armory?

You unlock more armour as you rank up. so i am a warrent officer and i can look at armour that i can only unlock at captain level, but i couldent see that armour at a lower rank. But if you are confused as to why you cant buy all your armour its because you need to spend credits to get it. You get credits as you kill things online for a lack of better explenation. Hope that helps
