Uninstall software

I tried to install a older version of pro tools to my windows vista computer. It couldn’t work so I use the windows compatibility wizard to try it. My display turned a different strange colour and now I want to uninstall or delete the program but I can’t. I need permission to do so. Any help?

I would download CCleaner for free. Not only does it clean your computer it also has “tools” under that it has an uninstaller that will list every program. That should work. If not try spybot search and destroy, under the tools there just go to uninstall. Hope that helps. You do say you need permission though and I am not sure what you mean. Has it always or started now. If started now, then I would restart your machine and see if it changes and if no good…start, system tools and restore your computer to an earlier day. If you weren’t able to previously uninstall programs it might mean your not an administrator. So whoever it is then I would ask…

i recommend you to try an uninstaller called Mighty Uninstaller,it forcibly uninstall incomplete/corrupt programs within clicks. It will be a little difficult for you to thoroughly uninstall a program that pops up with errors or when its packaged uninstaller does not work. However, the Force Uninstall function in Ultimate Uninstaller with help you easily and forcibly uninstall it from its directory.
