Best friend just broke up with my crush

One of my best friends broke up with a boy I really, really like. I think he knows I like him. He is in all of my classes. Every time I look at him I notice he is looking at me also. I get nervous so I always look away pretending I was looking at like a poster on the wall or some thing. I’m afraid that if my friend finds out I have a crush on him she will think im a weirdo. If something happenes between us two, what if my friend gets mad at me? Ugh, what do I do? please help me!

You need to decide what’s more important to you, a relationship with this guy, or your friendship with your friend. Almost certainly, she will be upset if you make a move on this guy and ya’ll start dating. It’s normal to have crush’s on people, but that doesn’t mean you have to act on it.

well my best mate went out with my ex, maybe not as recently after the relationship as in your case, but the situation is similar.. I still had feelings for her and it hurt, but if she is a good friend she will either go with it, because she wants to support you, or she will tell you that she doesnt think it is a good idea, because it could jeopardise your friendship! I mean, she broke up with him so it can’t be as bad as if he did it and she was still totally in love… it all comes down to the way you think you’re friend will act but it sounds as if you’re in the clear! unless you follow that “no dating best friends’ ex’s” rule.. which is kinda crap
