What types of stuff or places should I take pictures....?

I’m blank on ideas as of right now. What type of places or stuff should I take pictures of to benefit me and my photography skills?

Answer #1

Walk around outside your house, maybe you can find a pretty bed of flowers, some pretty trees, or a nice group of butterflies.

Try the park, a zoo, landmarks, etc…

Think “Nature”… :)

Answer #2

Zoo is out of the question, but the others sounds very creative, though original. Thanks XD

Answer #3

Your welcome! Glad to help! :)

Answer #4

Just take pictures of things that catch your eye, and interest you. It can be just about anything. A motorcycle, a car, an airplane, a flower, a turtle in a pond, a resting bird, a pet, anything…

Answer #5

random people on the street. :) like the same that angelee said…but with people

Answer #6

it really depends on what you like & what interest you!

personally I love nature, but when on a trip I rather take beautiful shots of views…like the ocean from a cliff side with a beautiful sunset..or a beautiful waterfall…then again that is just me…some might find their significant other as the best pictures to have…or as our sweet angel said flowers…animals in the wild or simply butterflies…

What ever it is I am sure your are going to have a great time doing it!

good luck!

Answer #7

Speaking of flowers, I checked out my moms “flower” bush in the front, it’s in no shape.

Answer #8

I know companies look at creativity but also originality, and professional, that’s what I’m going to try and aim for. I like your answer as well

Answer #9

Fire makes great pictures…and its different with every snap. Also, throwing in copper makes the flames turn rainbow colors. Think things that people dont usually pay attention to,cracks in a sidewalk with flowers growing out of it, old abandoned houses, graffiti, signs that are falling apart, bugs crawling on the ground, etc.

Answer #10

The fire part just gave me an idea, I’m going to do it in a little bit. You all realize that FunAdvice is the first site I upload my photos to.

Answer #11

Buikdings and architecture are always good for pictures. You can find so many different angles and get lots of different pictures from one building. Also try taking the same shot at different times of the day, which will make things different again due to shadows from the light being different, it’s makes for an interesting composition when lined up together.

As blackbelt says, people is a good idea, it might just take a bit of nerve to ask somebody. One of favourite photographers is Anton Corbijn, he takes stunning portrait pics.

Answer #12

I hope you all know that my cell phone is the source of my every picture on here
