Do you trust those "free one week trials"?

What do you guys think about those offers that let you try free for a week or a month? Do you trust them? I’m always afraid that they won’t have a working number or email when I go to cancel, but bill me anyway? What are your good and negative experiences with these offer?

I don’t trust them.

Really, don’t do them. I view them as scams. The only time I do them is when I know I’ll want the service after the trial. Netflix is an example, I had a two week trial but I wanted a new movie rental place anyway because Blockbuster was letting me down.

I did a one-week trial once for something, and I called to cancel after the week, and I missed the chance to cancel by a few hours, so they billed me for a month of it. I think that happens a lot, or they just count on you to forget to cancel it.
