Is it true that ants never sleep?

If so, How do they get their rest and energy? It’s hard to believe they do all that work (carrying things well over their own body weight) without sleeping or something.

Actually, some species of ants do sleep but they sleep about like 250-300 times a day. Ants have VERY short periods of sleep for like one minute.

Seeing they get stepped on a lot by us humans, they do have their own “homes” in those dirt mounds seen on sidewalks, and in grass, etc, they probably go in those “homes” to sleep and when they don’t feel like being stepped on anymore.

Ants dont go to sleep as human being do,they have different functions and duty to perform.They have kings and queen who stay indoor and there some that are they to protected them, some to watch their antrance and some to gather their food they work 24 hours even at midnight you will see them working. they dont sleep but rest
