Tiny ferret!

My new ferret is 10 months old and I can feel every bone in his body!!! He is male and a have a female ferret and males are supposed to be way bigger, that is not the case here! What can I do to fix this???

do not worry ! I have three ferrets , were they brought at the same time ? are they being kept together ? this will help me in helping you ?

if the ferret is showing no other symptoms but just is skinny then I would say weigh the ferret every other day to make sure it is gaining weight. it may just take about 2-3 weeks of food for the ferret to look better. it is possiable that the owner did not take good care of him. If nothing seems to help consult a vet, At the hospital I work at we see very little ferrets and only have done surgery once in the past 2 years that I have been there. But they can have serious issues like cancer.

No I have had the female since april, I got the skinny male today. yes they are being kept together (they have gorwn fond of eachother). the old owner says the male has always been kinda thin. hope this help you answer my question!!!
