A G-string and a thong are very similar. They both cover the front and they both go in the butt crack.

The only difference is where they meet at the top of the butt crack.

A thong usually has a triangle that tapers down and thus takes more sewing.

A G-string is basically just a string attached to another string.

Thongs are like a V

G-Strings are like a T

There is a larger difference though, a thong actually has a piece of fabric that goes between your butt cheeks, about 1 or 2 inches wide, and some have a wider band that goes around your hips and a larger triangle. a gstring can range from a triangle to a “T” but is always simply a string around your hips and in your butt.

G-String: a G-String is cover both in the front and the back but it has the strings on the side, (same as thong) that connect the front to the back.
