The snap game

I have no idea how it works. Lol but I saw it in the movie p.s. I love you. It goes: The name of the game is snaps. Snaps is the name of the game. (and then the person snaps twice) And then one of players guessses and says “mariah carey!” Anybody have any idea how it works?

u get 4 of the same card and as many cards as there are players. shuffle and give everybody four cards. everybody simultaneously take a card from the person to their right or left. if someone has 4 of the same card the last person to put their hand in the middle after the word snap loses and is out you say snap when you have 4 of the same card you put your hand in the middle of the group shouting SNAP if you have it
