you know, I think this is one of those films where being hate it because they don’t ‘get it’ - personally, I thought it was great. it’s about time mother nature got her own back on the things that are destroying her!

I don’t know if I had a fave bit, as such, but I do think the bit (again when they’re in the jeep) and they drive down that road and all those people ar just hanging, I think it’s quite haunting. but I think the fact that mother nature drove you to kill yourself by reversing your instinct to survive, is really mercyful. I mean, you only fear death because of that drive to survive - remove that, and what’s there to fear? nothing! you embrace death…thats kinda to humans than what we’re doing to the planet.

did you know, because of our carbon dioxide emissions and the greenhouse effect, for the first time EVER in history, we are finding polar bears that have drowned because the ice caps are melting and they have no where to rest - the way this planet is treated sicks, and if the government REALLY wanted to do something to genuinly improve the way we care for it, they would offer recycling services more freely, and give people incentives to exchange their cars for hybrid cars…no choice, it should be enforced… I’m all for choice and freewill - but when that is detrimental to our environment, then it should be considered as anti-social behaviour.

I’m not american, and I know people questioned his motive, but al gore make the film ‘an inconvinient truth’ and the evidence he gave really did support all that I have been saying for years. I used to be an energy efficiency surveyor, which meant I would go around peoples houses and assess their useage - and people are so ignorant to the effects of their selfish behaviour.

back to the film, at the end of it, a scientist spoke to a reporter and explained that we need to make radical changes, and it was poo-pood, and the fact that, almost instantly the same thing began in ‘russia’ (I think) proves man arrogance of nature, when nature will always win - hands down…

I like the question, it’s nce to see someone who enjoyed the film too…
