The Blair Witch Project

Oh man, I’ve been wanting to ask this question for a long time, but kept forgetting. Im not sure if I remember right but, was the “blair witch” thing, based on true events? was it true, or…were they just…saying stuff? I dont know. I use to think it was real but, im not so sure anymore.

OMFG that is mii FAVEFAVEFAVE scary moviee of all time I love<33 that moviee man L0L ummm its based on true events according tew the people who made it but when I went on the website It said that it wasnt real but I think it is..thats the best moviee man I love it <333

I think its real because I have a book that has newspaper clippings about it when it happened and it is one of my favorite movies of all time!!

Not real, not based on anything, just a film. I guess you could say they were “saying stuff” as much as Back to the Future was “saying stuff.” You make it sound like you feel that fiction and lying are the same thing.

I remember the days when it first came out, despite the fact that the actors were appearing on Letterman and the Today Show, people were still insisting that the film was real and the kids really died. I also remember it scaring the poop out of me.
