Where does a tattoo hurt the least?

I am 14 and I want a tattoo.( I want it to be a Jesus fish) where does a tatoo hurt the least? is now a good time to get one, or should I wait till I’m 16?

Answer #1

Your body is still developing right now, and will for a few more years. Would you want that fish to be all stretched out and distorted? Tattoo removal is extremely painful and often leaves nasty scars.

Wait until you are 18. It is considered a misdemeanor if a parlor tattoos you under the age of 18 EVEN WITH your parent’s permission. Chances are, you will have changed your mind on what tattoo to get. I had wanted one since I was even younger than you, and came up with all these really great ideas but now I look back on it, and I laugh.

Most importantly, you should not care about the pain. If you want a tattoo, you need to know exactly where you want it, not how much it’ll hurt. Tattoos hurt. End of story. Pain should be your smallest concern.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you are not working yet… you do not want to get a tattoo that is really visible, like on the inside of your arm, or your leg, etc. You want to get it somewhere that you can cover up. Later on in life if you land a really sweet job that doesn’t care if you have tats… then you can get them wherever you want. But FOR NOW, get it somewhere you can hide.

You should wait until you’re 18, probably. As for where tattoos hurt the least, I’m not sure, but that shouldn’t be what you’re thinking about.

Answer #3

At 14 you are still a child, a teenager and a tattoo should be the least of your worries. Your views will change as you grow up. You say you will have a jesus fish - ok then your religion will probably remain with you but is it appropiate for you to do this by your church? If you are into God that much, i think you should leave your body alone because “that is how God made us” respect your religion in another way. There are fish transfers for cars (when you get one) and bedroom wallpapers etc. Wear a cross on a necklace rather than scar your body with irreversible ink.

Bear in mind you are underage to have one too and some future employers may not allow you to work in their field because of bodily markings.

Answer #4

i don’t know where your from but most tattoo artists will refuse to tattoo anyone under the age of 18. even if you’re mom or dad goes with you, a lot wont do it. aside from the fact that you’re still growing, so even if you wait to get a tattoo when your 16..your tattoo is still gonna stretch and it wont look like what it originally was..

but anyway to answer your question

it hurts more where your body has the least fat, skin, muscle…whatever anything close to bone hurts more.

Answer #5

if you cant take the pain don’t get it

Answer #6

look you’re a teenager wait till you’re older to actually take a tattoo and you say you want a jesus fish if god wanted you to have a jesus fish wherever you wanted it he would have made you with one but god made you mark free so take take that as a blessing and don’t take any tattoos it’s like take a needle and randomly poking your body.I wanted a tattoo also then I started thinking I am a religious person and that was not the way to heaven at all cause it was like I was thinking about disrespecting my religion so I did not take one I just bought a gold chain with a cross pendant . so don’t mark your body okay.!!!
