tattoo wasn't allowed in a club because it was considered offensive

I have a huge tribal tattoo on back and across my chest. I wasnt aloud in a club because it was considered offensive.. is it?

Answer #1

There’s no picture - possible it could be considered offensive by the establishment - judgement call.

Answer #2

that sounds a lot like DISCRIMINATION to me, maybe have a POLITE discussion with the owner of the club and see what their policy is, were you wearing a shirt when you tried to go into the club?? they may have a no shirt policy, if that is the case you will just have to abide by the rules and wear a shirt. try talking to the owner and see what he says.

Answer #3

No way, there is no single group of people who would find that offensive except the snobs in society. For too damn long have us pierced and tattooed people been oppressed by those thinking low of us because we’re actually brave enough to modify ourselves into what we want to look like. Technically that is discrimination, and technically you’ve done nothing wrong. I applaud you for your bravery and boldness regarding the very large tattoo.
