Tampon Trouble.

I’m almost fifteen and all my friends still make fun of me for not wearing tampons. but I dont know where to put it, how to put it in, and all of that. Please help :/

WELL iTS NOT THEiR BUSiNESS what you WEAR…BUT I DO PREFER TAMPONS, THiNGS are MUCH CLEANER THAT WAY.

WELL iT TAKE iT OUT OF THE WRAPPER. HOLD iT SO THAT YOUR FINGERS ARE AROUND THE PART OF iT WiTH like A FEW RIDGES OR SOMETHiN (I DONT what BRAND you GOT). PUT THE SiDE THAT DOESNT HAVE THE STRiNG HANGiN OUT iN FiRST. SLiDE iT UP UNTiL YOUR FiNGERS TOUCH YOUR VAGiNA. THEN, PUSH THE PART OF iT WiTH THE STRiNG iN iT UP. ALL THE WAY UP UNTiL you CAN SLiDE THE OUTSiDE PART OF THE TAMPON OUT OF U. A STRiNG WiLL BE HANGiNG OUT, BUT THATS ALL. you WONT B ABLE 2 FEEL THE TAMPON. iF you DO, THAT MEANS THAT you PROBLY DiDNT PUT iT UP FAR ENOUGH.

MAKE SURE you CHANGE iT AT LEAST EVERY 5 HRS. OR LESS (ACCORDiN 2 YOUR FLOW). iF you DONT, you CAN GET A SERiOUS, FATAL CONDiTiON CALLED TTS (TOXiC SHOCK SYNDROME).

ACCORDiN TO THE BRAND you BUY, iT MAY HURT WHEN you START PUTTiN iT UP THERE, BUT JUST RUB A LITTLE GREASE ON YOUR “LiPS” 2 HELP iT SLiDE ON UP THERE SMOOTHLY.

when you buy tampons, inside the box, there will be instructions. but you might have to look around a little because sometimes the instructions are on the side or bottom of the box. make sure you read the warnings!

Tampons as the cause of Toxic Shock Syndrome are very RARE!! Tampons are 99.9% safe :) Look at the instructions on the packet.. Or ask your mum or a close female relative. Dont be scared to ask - every girl has periods at some point in her life (y)

Those aren’t friends at all, tell them to grow up. Anyways… If you want to start using tampons you can get a teen pack (they will say TEEN right on the box), it comes with great instructions and everything. If you don’t want to then fine, that’s your business, not anyone elses. Personally I only wear tampons when I’m going out somewhere for a long period of time or going swimming.
