I find that Swiss has a much too mild flavor for my liking. American cheese, on the other hand, barely has a "cheese" taste to it and all I can really taste is sodium, not to mention it's processed cheese which is no good for you. However, flavor-wise, having to choose between the two, I'd have to choose American cheese. Had I had more choices, I would choose other cheeses!
What about neither? I prefer things like Muenster or Provolone over the typical American or Swiss cheeses.
American. Never liked Swiss. Who knows how the make those holes. Lol
I really like french cheese.
I prefer cheddar :-)
