Graphic and computer design. Art and science too. Maybe engineering. My brother is doing that too so he’s researched a lot.

You should study web design and there are some game appreciation classes you could take but mainly any class that leads to computer programing.

Well the art institutes have a program that will get you a a BFA in video game art and design. Some classes they have you take are ntroduction to 2-D Animation Principles of 3-D Modeling Figure Construction Advanced Life Drawing Digital Media Production I Hard Surface & Organic Modeling Digital Paint Materials & Lighting Three-Dimensional Animation Concept Art & Visual Development Cartooning & Character Design Background Design & Layout

Math is required, at least algebra II level, and you will have to take other classes.

i think maths helps too and good luck with it, its a very hard career to get in to..

also have a butchers [look] at your local game developers and see if theres any near you that will take on an apprentice.

the only american developers i know is valve and im not sure where their based.
