Do you mean like a specific "senior project?" Students are supposed to pick a subject that interests them and produce a body of work consisting of 4 parts around it, and ultimately, form a presentation for it.
It's said that the senior project funnels into a program called Graduation Project, in which the projects are set in place as a means to strengthen the English and Language Arts of students as well as granting students time to look into career options in their current interests. It also forces students to work beyond their normal courses at levels equivalent to that of AP or CC courses.
Because I'm sure they want to get a good grade? If you don't submit your work, you can still fail the year..
Meaby to get extra credit or something?
