Does the 'In Styler' work good?

miragyrl: I have problems with frizz like you and my hair is also wavy. When I do go to the salons, I get comments like, it is “so soft, but so much:, and I always end up paying the extra $5 for longer hair, even if mine is just past my shoulders, so… don’t know if that info helps you or not, I am willing to post a picture of my hair for you to see. It is all natural, so maybe that may make a difference. I am very familiar with the CHI products, I used them for a long time, but now I have switched over to the Moroccan Oil and use just a drop before the In Styler. Walmart may have good prices, but if you look for products when they are on sale you may get a better deal. Walmart will give you your money back if you want to buy it from the Bay, but I don’t know if they still have it on sale. Also…on Kijiji there was an ad from somebody that had received 2 for Christmas, they wanted $150 and I think that you should avoid these kind of people. Again, I absolutely love this tool, and I wish I had bought it a while back, it would have saved me some humiliation while people that don’t know hair “try” to put rollers in.

Dear MIMI TORONTO~ what kind of hair do you have?? maybe it has to do with what kind of hair you have so ift you could please answer that, that would be great thanks. and obvisously it would be better to buy it in person, I saw it at walmart for a $100 bucks. Man, im super sorry if you got screwed by them!!! Damn and seriously how sweet of you to tell everyone instead of being bitter about it and wanting others to go thru the same hell. Props. =) My hair is super thick and curly wavy and really frizzy and middle of back so I have a hard time period and it TAKES FOREVER if I don’t have a decent straightener but I want one that also curls as well so ya. My sister in law got a chi (I recommended) since it was the one I wanted my in laws to get me for x mas but I got a different one but this chi one was bout 100 bucks and it curls as well and works beautifullly, im returning the one I got and gettting this one, I forget what kind it is exactly tho. but your good with any chi product.

I just wrote a crap load and it didn’t friggin sane im so mad anyways, first of all what kind of hair do you have, mine is super thick and curly/wavy and super frizzy but healthy and mid back. Maybe it worked for you because of the kind of hair you have. also thanks for evyerone elses advice on it instead of being bitter about it and letting others get screwed. So PROPS. What I do know for sure is that any CHI product works probably the best so thats my advice. also I saw the In STyler at WAlmart for $100 there… so if it does work you can get it there and always return it very easily.

I bought mine on the 26th of December at the Bay (Bloor), it was 15% off, plus I got another 15% for being from out of town. I tried it 2 days later when we got home and was absolutely blown away from the results. If you follow the instructions from the DVD that comes with it you should do fine. My hair came out so silky and just lovely. Btw I was done in less than 30 minutes. At the salon it takes at least that long for the most experience hairdresser to put the rollers in! My recommendation is that you buy it in person.

No it does not - and they are theives. I ordered mine on the phone in November 08- they charged my card 14.99 - that was for the 30 day free trial - although they lead you to believe that will then be your shipping costs. It did not work any where close to what it is advertised to do. I sent in back two weeks later. I then noticed a charge for 62.00 that came out of my account 2 days after I called to get the return shipping number. I had already paid 14.99 plus 20.00 to return the item. I called and they stated that they accidentally charged my account 2 weeks early and that they would return my money as soon as possible ( in 2 days) They returned 40.00 of the 61.00 that they charged my card. I called and they told me that 21.00 was for the cost for them to ship the item - so basically I spent 56.99 on a piece of crap that did not work that I did not even keep- so in a nutshell they make their money off of the item whether you keep it or not when it is all said and done - do not order this product

What a piece of crap!!! The informercial is very deceiving. The new thing on informecials is ‘Try It’ at a cost plus s/h. They never mention how much it REALLY costs! 3 payments of $40 PLUS S/H on top of the money you were charged to TRY IT!!! So, you order it only to find it is nothing like it shows on TV then try to return it and all hell breaks lose! You lose BIG TIME!!! Don’t bother ordering this junk!

DO NOT BUY IT! I was impressed by the informercial, but what a let down. I have wavy hair and it left my hair poofy. It did not provide a sleek look, nor does it curl your hair. Save your money!!!

faye0629 you know I called the # on the screen to find out it is so expensive that’s why they don’t put the price,that means it will coast around 160.00, but you know some thing I don’t believe it is worth it so I stick with my cheap dryer, by the way I called once to get information and they have been calling me since early in the morning when you still in bed so block your # when you call

I have the in styler and I love it. it may not work like they say it does in the commercials, but what does?! my hair is as well extremely frizzy, thick & curly and this product does numbers on my hair. I brought mine at Walgreen for 99.99! I definitely don’t regret buying it. I admit though I was getting mad when my hair wouldn’t curl with it, I realized that if you take hairspray and just spray a little bit on the hair your about to curl it comes out beautiful! I would recommend this to anyone, nothing in the world’s perfect so there’s definitely going to be some flaws with this, but it’s worth it.
