How do you stop the Sims 3 from freezing?

The Sims 3 keeps freezing with me. Does that happen to anyone else? How do you stop it from freezing? Thanks.x.

Well save every ten minutes or when you do something you won’t wanna have to do over because youll have to exit the game without saving .

It happens to me sometimes i stopped playing it because it would freeze or turn off on me but you could just keep saving and quiting when it freeze or try to redownload it.
