Sponsorships for my band!

I have a band and we’re looking from sponsorships and stuff to get a little cash for money for cds and labels and t-shirts and stuff

What companies should I go for and how should I word my e-mails and stuff?

I have never heard of people sponsering bands. I am friends with a lot of bands. What you do is book shows, get paid, make merch, sell merch, play more and more shows. you have to spend money to make money.

Try local companies, small where there’s not too much bureaucracy, but also decide what it is you’re giving back to them. Will their company name be plastered all over your CDs? What do they get for the sponsorship? And more, how much exposure?
