What can a snake do to my puppy?

A 5 and a half foot ball python escaped from her tank and she’s been on the loose in our house.. We can’t find her anywhere! (hard to believe).. I have a 10 week old pug puppy (he’s about 5 pounds) Can anything happen to him if he crosses paths with the python? The snake isn’t aggressive, and I know he’s too big to be eaten, but would she try anything with him?

Depends…unfortunatly you can never guess a snakes reaction to something its not familiar with, if the puppy starts to sniff around it or bark, it could bite or wrap its body around it and suffocate it. I would lock your puppy in a kennel intill you found the snake.

damn thats a big ball python i have mine and is full grown and its about 4 ft…well mmm i dont think is gonna harm your dog its gonna tuck into a little ball …btw look behind drawers refrigerator and bed frames for your snake

Yeah, she’s 7 years old..and taller than me :/ she’s been missing since mother’s day, and I just found her last night in the bathtub :D
