Okay I know doctors are smart and they know what they are doing but I have to have surgery and im just wondering why should I trust someone I have met once to cut open my ankle and srew around in there. I mean he must not be a gentle person he is able to cut me open!:( im super scared.

that is honestly the dumbest thing I have ever heard. doctors cut people open to save their lives not because they get off on being aggressive and torturing people. if your doctor didnt care about your well being he would let you die or let your ankle get infected...come on get real
you have to trust your doctors unless you willing to jeprodising your own health
It's a hard decisison. What would you rather have an untrusted doctor or a weak ankel. I would go with untrusted doctor. but you said he is very smart. he is trusted if he did this surgery many times before dont be scared its all for u. if everyone in this world didnt trust everyone this world would be nothing.
Nope, in spite of modern myth and idolization, doctors are humans too. When in doubt get a second opinion, ask friends for good doctors, etc. But for a minor surgery I doubt anyone who still has his medical license could do that bad of a job.
Oh yeah, clarification: If it's a minor surgery don't worry. But I meant otherwise watch yourself.

Well...that's what doctors do. It's what they are trained...for years...to do.
