Seriously. You should sing cause who knows you might have to do it again someday but only in a bigger crowd. Practice your song that your going to sing a million times so you would have it down pack. And don’t be scared cause if you scared you’ll panic and then you’ll start to forget the lyrics and mess up. So when you get on stage take a deep breath and close your eyes. Trust me it helps. And everything will be alright. I remembered when we had a talent show at my old school. The girl didnt challenge me but she told everyone that I couldnt sing and when I got up in frount of that classroom My mind just exploded. I was so nervous I started to fate, but the I started singing and my nerves just relaxed. And I ended up winning, even though she sanged 4 times, I still won. I got the award on my wall to prove it. So just practice and relax and I promise you everything will be ok. And if your intrested, WE COULD TEAM UP AND START OUR OWN GROUP CAUSE I’M LOOKING TO GET DISCOVERED, RIGHT NOW! But we can talk about hat later after you win the talent show. Good Luck! you can tell me how it went or ask me more questions at my email address. tell_me_ace@yahoo.com One more thing just remember to have fun and its not about winning or losing its about you over coming your fears. And about smashing that girls face into the ground. L.O.L

Everyone has a fear, but we should all face them in the end.

I think this would be the perfect opportunity for you to perhaps begin a career and face your fear. All I think you need is your family and friends for support and confidence. You have confidence, because you do believe in yourself that you are a good singer.

It doesn’t have to be a vicious cat fight battle with this girl at the sing-out. Try and be polite with her and then show her what you’re made of!

But if you do believe you can not do this, then this is your decision. Don’t let this girl bully you into what you don’t want to do. It also doesn’t matter what the school say. Just have confidence in yourself a bit more; being shy isn’t a bad thing!

Hope this piece of advice will help you and good luck if you do go to the sing-out: I’m sure you will do brilliantly!

Kat good on you for considering facing your fears life will teach you that even those who may or may not be the best will gain respect and live a more valued life if they can hold there head up high and show confidence. Just remember be confident while your singing if you feel the nerves creeping up through your belly then up your throat take a deep breath picture your self pushing the nerves back into your belly and clear your mind and just sing to its all finished I have handled many challenging times in my life with just this image in my head of standing in an empty room pushing the nerves back into my stomach concentrating on nothing else and each time came out the other side!

Remember this life will bring you to many regrets you cannot change so for the ones you have control over do what you can to fight your way through! Good luck! let us know how it went x

Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right. Henry Ford
