Should I call the police?

I turned 19 three days ago so I’m definitely not a kid, but yesterday afternoon when I was walking home from work this guy pulled up to me in his car. He looked like a teen or in his early 20’s. He greeted me and asked me things like what was my name (I told him my name), and how old was I (I told him my age). Then he asked me where was I from. I wasn’t specific, I just told him “This area” and when he asked me did I have a boyfriend I said I did..when I really don’t. I declined his offer for a ride too. He kept calling me “boo” also. I wasn’t specific with where I was from, told him I had a boyfriend and refused a ride just to be safe.

But should I tell the police about this? or just let it go?

Answer #1

I dont think you shuld call the police maib if he is stakin you yes.. did he say ok well bye when you told him no to the ride?!?

Answer #2

Notify your family about this because hadn’t you said you had a boyfriend he could have abducted you and been on with his day with you. After you notify your family, from there contact the police and give them a good description of him if they ask for one. You should know what to do.

Answer #3

well, basically, you let him know your info, allowed him to talk to you in his car, so no sense of calling the police.. what you’re gonna do next time? never entrust ANY personal info to anyone, especially if the guy met you that way, that he grabbed you and get you in his car..

Answer #4

I don’t know, if he really wanted to abduct you, why would you having a boyfriend stop him? I think if you had gotten in the car, he would have tried something, but since nothing happened, the cops can’t do anything. You can tell your parents what happened, but I don’t think calling the cops will do any good.
