I am now 4 1/2 months pregnant (1st pregnancy) and have been experiencing some off colored discharge myself. Im the type of woman who consistently goes to my gynecologists to maintain the health of my vagina. And when I noticed this brown discharge I freaked! It irritated me and I thought it had to be a bacteria infection (#1 infection in women) or a yeast infection (Candida, #2 infection in women). After a blood test, urine test, and vaginal examination (pap smear), my doctor told me there was no infection and that it just may be a part of my pregnancy. Several of my friends who have had children and/or have been pregnant say they have experienced the same thing. Now the discharge comes from your vagina and surrounds your clitoris which is probably why you think its originating from there, but its not. I don’t think you are a pervert, you just misunderstood where the discharge was coming from. Your urine hole is actually close to your clitoris. And then you have the vaginal hole (of course) so no wonder why you thought it was discharging from the clitoris. I was worried when I first noticed the discharge too and if you have already been tested and everything is okay, you have nothing to worry about but getting ready to be a mommy and making preparations for your baby sweetie! My advice would be to wear cotton underwear, take showers, and completely dry your vagina and try to keep it cool. Bacteria multiplies when it is moist and collecting warmth. Satin panties and silk panties disturb the circulation of air and contains the moisture. So I would avoid those altogether and definitely avoid thongs, they provoke problems as well. Good luck!

yes be very concerned… because you are no smarter than a rock and you should know that a “clit” has no pores nor openings and therefore cannot leak…

Answer #4

Yea… I would be WAY concerned if ANY discharge was coming from your clit.

I think you may be confused as to your own anatomy and the discharge is most likely coming from your vagina and moving across your vulva near your clitoris which would explain why you may be confused. Educate yourself on your own anatomy(it’s a little alarming that you’re 6 months pregnant and don’t know the function of the clitoris…)

If anything worries you in your pregnancy it’s best to consult your doctor as he/she is a professional.

If it is actually coming from your clitoris (which I doubt) you should be concerned. The clitoris is not a hole, and there’s no reason discharge would be coming from there.

Answer #6

You first should learn your own anatomy, unless you are having sever cramping or bloody discharge I wouldn’t be concerned, discharge comes out in many different ways. This is my second pregnancy and during my first I had brown discharge also. You should only be concerned if it looks like a slug and si really big and chunky. that then could be your mucus plug coming out!
