Should we be pro-choice with education and let people choose where they want to send their kids and if not, why not ?

“Utah voters on Tuesday killed the nation’s first statewide school voucher program that promised tax dollars for private tuition, no matter how much a family earned or whether kids were in bad schools. . . . Utah, with a conservative electorate, a Republican governor and GOP-controlled Legislature, was seen nationally as a key test of voter sentiment for vouchers. But opponents, with millions of dollars from a national teachers union, persuaded residents to say no.”

Answer #2

Your question seems unclear to me. Sorry. Is your question dealing with what (or if any) religious view point should be taught, or is it more of whether sex education should be allowed?

Answer #3

Sorry amblessed, my bad. I agree with you. It should be the parents choice whether to send their child to public, private, or parochial.

Answer #4

isn’t it already pro choice?

Answer #5

Parents already have that choice… You can send your kids to public or private, you just have to pay for private. It’s still their choice.

Answer #6

No problem, ‘choose “where” they want to send their kids’ - seems pretty straightforward to me - public or private.
