My friend takes seroquel (sp) for her bipolar disorder.. She also has smoked weed in teh past, and wondering that if she did it again, would it affect anything ?
heh...tell your "friend" that it's a no. I took a very high dose of seroquel along with lithium and effexor ex. and weed does not effect those. as a matter of fact I asked my doctor on the downlow that, if I just smoked pot every day and not had to take those medications, would that work? he said yes. but shh I didn't tell you that! seirously...I hated those meds and you friend should stop taking it unless she has severe bipolar and really needs it. I took the meds for two years because I was pretty damn bad. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL ON IT THOUGH!!! BY ALL MEANS DO NOT DRINIK! even if you don't take it or a couple of days and then drink it would still affect you because it takes at least a month for thsoe types of medications to get out of your system. it's really dangerous. I ended up in a hospital and blacked out like that so many times. she can smoke weed with no problem on it though...she would just gain a lot of weight (seroquel by it self makes you gain weight) and get sleep a lot
