Septic Or Sewer Line?

Recently we found the perfect home to buy. One thing wrong… It has a septic tank and water well. Do you advise getting into a home that dosen’t have city sewer lines? I have never been limited on how I use water or when I use it HELP PLEASE!

Growing up, I lived with my mom who didn’t have a city sewer line, only a septic. My dad also has the same setup at his house, it’s fairly common still in rural areas. Only difference is that you’ll need to make sure that it gets cleaned regularly, instead of having everything flow out to the city main.

Companies will come out & pick it up, so to speak, etc. Make sure that the cost difference of doing that isn’t going to make the deal “not worth it” and also get an inspection of the septic system, to make sure there aren’t any issues with it.
