School Spirit

I’m on school council and I’m trying to wow the council with cool new ideas. one of the teachers gave me the idea of a spirit week to have towards the end of the year. the 8th grade classes has NO SCHOOL SPIRIT at all. how do I get them excited about our school during spirit week. I want 2 have a school colors day included in it also thanx=)

why dont you organize a school disco

some fun games every one can do out side like dodge ball cricket basket ball

also take a vote and people can say some stuff they would like to do then get a vote

Well, I’m in 9th grade and last year I was on student council, and I have to tell you that it is going to be hard to get them excited. However, what we used to do was have a fundraiser within a spirit week. They would pay to break the dress code. For example, if we brought in 1 dollar, we could wear a hat. If he brought in 2 dollars, we could wear a hat and flip flops etc. It got everyone excited! So find out what they like, and then give it to them! lol good luck!
