If you mean a book I would recommend Jack Ketchum’s the girl next door, beleive me when I tell you that, there’s no monster’s vampires or any other such bullsh*t that doesn’t scare anyone. but what scares the crap out of you in this book is that there’s actually people like that in the world I didn’t sleep the night I read it… I literally read the entire thing cover to cover in 4 hours I just couldn’t put it down… it did disturb the hell out of me but hey any book that can do that is well worth reading.

But if you mean a short story anything by Edgar Allen Poe is good
