Its so normal to be nervous durng a new school year…just remember that your high school year is what YOU make it. If your worried about making friends join a club or team…that way you have similar interest with other kids and spend alot of time with them and have a chance to make new friendships. Until then, talk to ghe person sitting next to you in class, ask for help or offer help to another person in your classes, just put yourself out there and youd be suprised who you would meet.

Having just gone through sophomore year, I’ll tell you it’s really nothing to worry about. The homework is pretty much normal if you are at the right level. And as for friends, you should join an extracurricular activity and meet up with people with the same hobbies. As long as you talk and give people no reason to hate you, they really shouldn’t. As for how they portray high school in movies, I’ll tell you it’s not like that at all. And cliques, yeah there’ll be some but if you’re openminded you should be able to get along with them all. And bullies will only bully you if you have an ‘air’ of cowardice. It’s really not as bad as everyone thinks it is, just be kind to people, do your homework and high school will just fly by.
