I would say look for an artist who plays just the piano,piano solos to me are best when it comes to sad war scenes.

the song im bout to say is sad but not that slow but try it out its called army men by charlotte sometimes the other one is second chance by shinedown and the last one is angels on the moon by thriving ivory
