but how does one do that? If the 'other person' is so sexy, so smart, so perfect. how can you think clearly? how can you not choose them? even compared to someone who you've grown to love so much.... okay, new question: how do you not think about the 'other person'?
because my friend is Mady In Love with someone else, and doesn't want to ruin the relationship. Plus, He knows if he goes with this 'perfect person' they won't last long. And he's even thinking about proposing to his current girlfriend... advice?
Well that's hard because it depends on the person. It's hard advice to give but all I can say is either getting him to understand that there is no future there and that he must move on. Maybe you should try finding someone better for him
If he is so happy with his current girlfriend, and is considering proposing, another girl shouldn't blur his vision. He must not be completely satisfied with his relationship if he's letting another girl catch his eye.
well, that's the thing. they wouldn't last long because that person Is so perfect. they would obviously find someone better then my friend. so, how does he stop thinking about her?

Because he's in love with someone else, and wants to marry her. and he knows him and the 'perfect' person wouldn't be dating for long, because of how amazing they are.
you try to get detracted with something else that ur interested in and looks are not always everything the inside is better
you may have to find someone even more perfect to get your mind off, but why would you want to resist?
and if he knows that they wont last long them maybe the person isnt so perfect.
