Answer #4

I was in 6th grade.. I remember not really understanding exactly what happened, and then at school they told us in the morning and said we’d be in trouble if they heard us talking about it..

Answer #5

I remember It like it was yesterday. I was working on a Commercial building project downtown Portland, And we were listening to the reports on the radio. Fter we found out that both towers were knocked down, I looked up at the Bank corp tower (portland tallest Skyscraper at a whopping 44 stories), and trying to realize two towers three times that size coming down and the power of that. I remember an emotional President, and how he tried hard to console victims, Deliver relief, gather inteligence, unify nations, protect Muslims, and Instill confidence in Americans, all the while trying to figure out who’s a$$ America needed to kick. I still believe we had the President we needed at the time, and New York Definitely had the right Mayor.

Answer #6

I was in Catholic high school and we were having mass. The priest got up in front of the student body and told us all that the twin towers had been hit. We all sat confused for a few minutes and then he got back up there and said the pentagon had just been hit. Since our school was in DC and fairly close to the pentagon, they closed school early. I remember going back to our homerooms and watching it happen on tv over and over again. Some kids laughed, some kids cried, some ditched homeroom to go smoke pot in the park across the street. I remember not being able to get through to anyone over the cell phone. The whole day was quite surreal. The sky was infested with helicopters and planes.

Answer #7

I was really young at that age,but I saw the news on television,I remembered.I didn’t know much at that time. But now I know a lot about it,and whenever I watch anything related to it,it drives me to tears. That was really sad part and it all happened because people(let’s say them people) were jealous of USA.

Answer #8

Answer #10

I didn’t really understand it at the time. But here’s something interesting- I know a girl who’s family were meant to be on that flight. They were all at the airport and some complications arose with one of their passports which resulted in them missing the flight. How freaky is that?

Answer #11

I remember my parents caught me skipping school and then they forced me to go and when I got there the school was closed. I remember going home and watching the news all day. They didnt reopen my high school for a week.

Answer #12

I remember I was in 2nd grade. I got up and got dressed and ready for school like any other day. When I got to school it was fine but then the principal made an announcement to turn on the news. So my teacher did and watched it. Then my parents came and got me and we watched it all day. That day was sad fro me because I have an Uncle Bruce who lived in New York at that time and we were supposed to go visit him. We were gonna leave right after lunch. Mama and daddy was gonna come get me. But we didn’t go because of all the bombings. But my Uncle Bruce is fine. He didn’t get hurt and now he lives in GA.
