Can remakes of songs ever be better?

do you think remakes of songs can ever be better then the orginal song ?

Depends on the song really like cascadas new song “what hurts the most” was originally some country song and it sounds a lot better in techno.

Generally no, but I’ve seen a few exceptions to the rule, for example “King of Wishful Thinking” (remade by New Found Glory), and “Dreams” (remade by the Corrs).

Yes. Michael Damian’s version of “Rock On” is much better than David Essex’s original.

at times, yes…just look at the remake of “all along the watchtower” by Jimi Hendrix

Yaa Milkshakes- Goodnight Nurse Kiss Me- New Found Glory Careless Whisper- Seether Happy Together- Simple Plan Umbrella- All Time Low I like the originals, but I just like the rock version more.
