My boyfriend has noticed a little rash looking thing appear on his penis, he said it looks like a patch of little red dots. What could it be?
Your description does not sound like genital herpes or genital warts as previously suggested on here Steph.
But as the_antichrist says, best he get to the docs if he is worried or if it gets worse.
There are very few problems around this area that do not respond to medication so I would not worry.
Meanwhile, would suggest that you make sure he uses a condom if you have sex.
Could be something as simple as an allergy to the powder used to wash his shorts or an allergy to washing soap.
Is he aware that any of these have been changed recently? I come out in a rash all over my body if my wife washes my clothes in biological washing powder...
Then of course, I suppose it could be lipstick...lol
:)
Lol I hope steph laughed. Its ok steph were not making fun at your boyfriends doodles expence. Did he go to the doctors. Its all nature and that. We are grown up here and can talk about these things. My kids both get rashed if they dont have a particular brand washing powder. Maybe its like a jocky itch or something?
Could be genital herpes or genital warts If its a red rash with little dots I'd say its either one of the two Mybe he should get himself down to the doctor for a check up and to find out what it could be just use protection so you dont get it...:)
some possible causes of a rash on the penis could include: 1) an allergic reaction 2) syphillis 3) psoriasis 4) eczema 5)dermatitis
so to be on the safe side have him see a doctor asap
Ok, well no one for sure can be positive what it is, I would consider that you should tell him to seek a doctor to make sure he knows what is going on, anyways, good luck. :]
Couldnt resist the lipstick joke Muma, the question was just screaming out for me to get this in somewhere...
:)
