Are my friends over reacting

ok me and my boyfriend of been going out for a while now and a few weeks ago we had are homecoming dance. we were having a great time and right before the dance was over my boyfriend and I were selected as prom king and queen. we were suprised so while we were on stage right after they put the crown on my head he got down on one knee and said “it is my dream to see you in a wedding dress” I was like OMG and after that I havent stop hearing that me and him are getting married from my friends are they overeacting or should I be worried and do you think that is sweet to say

I don’t think you have any reason to be worried. He said what he said because he meant it and thought he’d tell you how he felt. I don’t know anyone who would say tat if they didn’t mean it.

As for your friends, they’re just having some fun with you. If it bothers you, ask them to stop. If they don’t stop after that.. TELL them to stop.
